Your baby’s head, abdomen, thigh bone will be assessed, alongside the amount of amniotic fluid, doppler study and weight of the baby at current gestation.
As this scan is available up to 38 weeks gestation, depending on the baby’s size, the 2D images you receive with this scan may not always be as clear. Therefore, if you’re most interested in the images, we recommend booking this appointment sooner rather than later.
All of our scans are performed by professional sonographers who also work at the NHS, so you can be sure you will be in good hands. We advise that anything found during your private growth scan is reported to your GP/Healthcare provider. Any immediate concerns will be relayed to you, which you need to discuss with your midwife.
